BEFORE USING
THE APPLIANCE
Before the first use run your toaster once
without putting bread inside to eliminate the for-
eign smells and dust that may accumulate on
the heating elements.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place your toaster upon a dry, smooth flat
level surface.
2. Plug into a wall outlet with the same voltage
as marked on the toaster case.
3. Set the toast browning control (4) to the
position you need. The control (4) may be set
into any one of seven possible positions – 1 to 7
(1 – light browning, 7 – maximum browning).
Note: dry thin slices will be ready much faster than wet thick
ones.
4. Place one or two slices of bread into toasting slots (1) and
depress the lowering bar (2) to switch the appliance on. After
the toasting process is completed, the device automatically
switches off.
5. If you need to interrupt the toasting process press the ejection
button (5) – the toaster will switch off and the loading lever (2)
will go up.
6. If the toaster has switched off, but the toast is not ready, adjust
the browning control using the control handle (4), then pull
down the lever (2) once again. Watch carefully in order not to
burn the toasts.
7. If you need to make a second batch of toast straight after using
the toaster, you should set the browning control to a lower
browning setting to get the same brownness. Remember that
your toaster heats up much faster than it cools down.
Bread warm-up
If you want to warm up a slice of bread or toast that has gone

button (6).
Toasting frozen bread
You can make toast with frozen bread using it straight from the
freezer. Set the browning control handle (4) to the position de-
